Ingredients
Ingredients: Roasted Garlic Mashed Potato
- 15 cloves garlic (cleaned and peeled)
- Olive oil for Drizzling
- ½ tsp of sea salt
- 1 Lb. yukon gold potato (Peeled, Cut and Cubed)
- 1 tsp. Garlic salt
- 1 tsp. Of Mccormick pepper
- ½ Cup of Whole milk (milk of your choice)
- ¼ Cup Butter
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees
- Get a piece of aluminum foil and spray some non stick spray.
- Place your garlic cloves onto the aluminum foil.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sea salt.
- Close your aluminum foil, making a little purse.
- Place in your oven and roast for about 40 minutes. While we wait for our garlic to roast, let's start the potatoes.
- Place your potatoes (Cut and Cubed) into an empty pot.
- Fill the pot with cold water and place it on the stove. You want the potatoes to be completely submerged
- Turn your heat to medium/high and cover.
- They are done when fork tender.
- Drain the water from the pot.
- Let us stop to check on the garlic.
- It is done when the cloves are golden brown and fork tender.
- Let us prepare your mixer by attaching the paddle attachment.
- Place the potatoes into your mixer.
- Add your garlic.
