Thai Sesame Patties Recipe
This appetizer, although small and deceiving, carries a very strong Asian flavor profile. It has the ground turkey that we have marinated in fresh ginger, garlic, green onions, cilantro, red pepper flakes, ponzu, sesame seeds both black and white, along with seasonings. Eggs are used to bind these patties. They are then fried in a combo of coconut and sesame oils. This process just enhances the delicate patties with phenomenal flavors. This is then paired with a Thai sweet chili sauce for dipping. All together this appetizer is very pleasing. Enjoy!

Gather all your ingredients
Combine all of your ingredients into a large bowl.(except for your Coconut and Sesame oils)
Mix thoroughly.
Line 2 sheet pans with parchment.
Using a scooper place evenly portioned balls on your sheet pan.
Flatten your balls slightly so as to make small patties.
Cover in saran wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
After an our, you will want to remove your patties from the fridge. Place a large skillet on the stove and combine both oils into the skillet.
Place your patties in the skillet and do not over crowd. (you want these to turn golden brown before you flip. If they are too close together it steams them and makes it hard to flip.)
Your heat should be at medium high and cook about 8 to 10 minutes on each side. They are ready when the center is at 165 degrees.
Get a new parchment on your baking sheet.
Once the Thai Sesame Patties are done. Remove from the skillet and place on the baking sheet.
When all you patties are done. Take your patties and place on the plate. Then go ahead and garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, and Cilantro leaves.
Serve with Thai sweet dipping sauce and ENJOY!
