Cheesy Italian Rosemary Garlic Bread
This appetizer is what dreams are made of...No seriously I really, really mean it! My neighbors and tasters can't get enough. When I went to drop off some tasters a few minutes later they came knocking on my door asking for more. That in my opinion is the ultimate compliment. This roasted garlic compound butter is a must. I now have a tube in my freezer at all times. It makes beautiful pizzas as well. Getting back to this garlic cheesy bread, as an appetizer it is brilliant but as a side dish well talking about enhancing a meal. The cheese mixture adds to the gooeyness and golden brown deliciousness and the bread is hardly an afterthought. We paired the rosemary olive oil bread as well as the oregano to make a well rounded flavor profile and we succeeded.
- 1 Loaf of Rosemary Olive oil bread (sliced in half lengthwise)
- 6 coins of roasted garlic compound butter (Click here for our Recipe)
- 2 Cups of Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 1 Cup of Romano/ Parmesan cheese.
- 1 Tbsp. Oregano.
Gather your ingredients
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
Place a parchment paper on your baking sheet.
On top of your baking sheet place your halved loaf of bread.
Put 3 coins of your compound butter on top of each loaf half and spread. Click here for our Recipe In a separate bowl combine your cheeses.
Place a large mound of the cheese to completely cover the loaf from crust to crust and sprinkle on your oregano.
Place in your oven and bake for 10 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and use a large chef’s knife cut into desired portions. (only if you want to share…I’m not judging you. Enjoy!)
