The Pink Papaya

The Salsa Dancer

The Salsa Dancer

Funny Story…When I was younger, I came to Puerto Rico to visit with my uncle “Cheo,” he threw this big get together with all of his friends and family in Ceiba. He was celebrating coming back together with his baby brother, my father and our families. He had a full Lechon, Arroz con Gandules and all the fixings…He had a small band playing salsa for those who wanted to dance, and it was a huge success. One of his friends asked me to dance. I said sure why the hell not (after a few drinks i thought i was JLO!)Well let me tell you this guy could “No Joke” dance. He had me twirling and moving to the beat as if i knew what i was doing…He was so good that he made me look professional. Anyways after that dance i came off the dance floor and everyone circled me and said Wow I didn’t know you could dance like that!…(Neither did I, thanks to my magic Salsa dancer!) This drink reminds me of him. It is a combination of Vanilla Vodka, Pineapple Rum and Guava Puree. Once blended with ice. Round and round it goes. Just like me! I present to you The Salsa Dancer!
