Lauren2024-04-20I cannot say enough good things about Lisa and Ryan’s place. It is beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. You will feel like part of the family. Take their recommendations. The highlight of our trip was a beach that Ryan sent us to. The bed is so comfortable. The shower has great water pressure. The washer and dryer are a lifesaver. They have thought of everything you could need to enjoy your vacation so that you don’t have to. And of course, the food is amazing! Lisa and Ryan made our stay truly special. We can’t wait to stay with them again.

Nancy2024-04-11We had an amazing stay at Casa Encanto. The location is a short drive to beaches, restaurants, and the rainforest. Our Beep Beep Jeep was awesome, so glad we saw the recomendation here in the bnb reviews. The private apartment was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and very comfortable. New air conditioner and a lovely pool kept us cool on the hottest days. Lots of extra included amenities which help make for a comfortable stay ie local snacks and drinks, beach gear, washer/dryer, etc. The best part were our hosts Lisa and Ryan, from their hospitality, local recommendations, responsiveness to questions, anticipation of your needs(Lisa thank you for making sure I had benadryl due to my allergy!), to the absolutely delicious gourmet breakfast served each morning, we left feeling like we have new friends on the island, and look forward to a return visit.

Ten minutes to the ocean Fifteen to El Yunque. 45 or so from San Juan. Really a wonderful experience. Great people.
Jake2024-03-25Lisa and Ryan’s listing was so cozy and comfortable and the property was absolutely beautiful . Upon arrival it was like walking into a utopia. The breakfast’s were out of this WORLD and Lisa is truly a talented chef. They made my girlfriend feel extra special on her birthday by making us a dinner to celebrate and even singing happy birthday to her. They were happy to provide recommendations for the area if you ask and they really made us feel like family. We cannot wait to come back and enjoy the space and see them again.

Shea2024-03-20I wish I could give Casa Encanto 10 stars. By far the best Airbnb experience I've had. From the welcome drinks, to a beautiful property and home it was top notch. Lisa and Ryan are just amazing, they understand hospitality. Now imagine all this wonderfulness that puts it at 5 stars and add in Casa Encanto Breakfast which is just another experience that propels this past anywhere I've ever stayed. Truly another 5 star experience. We will be back and stay as many nights as we can.

Everything was simply perfect, from the peaceful surroundings, to the attention to detail, and the food. The attention to detail at Casa Encanto truly makes it unique. Ryan graciously accommodated my partner and me, who don't drive, and took us to El Yunque where Ryan guided us through rainforest trails to stand beneath waterfalls for photos. And, let's not forget the secluded beach he took us to in his jeep. Lisa's culinary skills are unparalleled. Every meal was spectacular. And then, there are Lisa’s pastries, which are simply next-level! We were spoiled for all local restaurants for the rest of our stay in PR. Staying at Casa Encanto will leave you utterly enchanted. Be prepared to fall in love with every moment of your stay and to wish you lived right there in Luquillo. Lisa and Ryan are beyond hosts, they are friends. We will be back!

Charco El Hippie
El Charco el Hippe is a natural pool located in the town of Naguabo, in the foothills of the Yunque. It is an extremely large river and has many areas for the enjoyment of its visitors. It has several stones, at different heights, so that its bathers can jump into the pool. The natural pool area is extremely large which makes it perfect for swimming.

Las Paylas
Being a rain forest, there are plenty of rivers that come down from El Yunque. Over many years, the rushing waters have made some of these river rocks into natural playgrounds, complete with pools and water slides. There is a place in Luquillo called Las Paylas (or Las Pailas) were the rocks in this river are really smooth and make for some really fun slides. Type in Las Paylas in google maps and it will take you right there. 5 dollars to park and 1 dollar per person.
